there were never any glory days. there was never a time before the bullshit. just a wide eyed curiosity at something new. all of the causes that affected us. it’s all still here in this room past the glares of all the kids you don't know staring straight into the soul of your unashamed and awkward catharsis. these strangers that become family the minute everyone here stops trying so hard. there were never any glory days. it has always been like this. there were never any glory days. just these people that change and move on. deciding to grow up and write this off to the folly of youth. outgrowing that wonder that is something new every day. closing the chapters and looking back with disgust, longing, or indifference. it's all in what you choose to see in this petty revolt, sincere absolution. it's all in what you choose to see. it's always been for the glory. it's always been a fucking disaster.
